Michael Ward (Ph.D., Northwestern University, 1977) is a professor in the Political Science Department at the University of Washington. His current research focuses on the changing dynamics of international commerce, cooperation, and conflict. He addresses these issues through the use of statistical models of the longitudinal network dynamics.

Ward’s teaching interests include international relations theory and quantitative methodology.
