Christopher Adolph is an assistant professor in political science
at the University of Washington, Seattle and a core faculty member
of the Center for Statistics and the Social Sciences. He works in
the fields of comparative political economy and political methodology.
He studies the interaction of political interests and political
institutions, and the effects of this interaction on the economy.
His recent research has looked at how political parties, central
banks, and labor market institutions shape macro-economic policy.
Other research interests include the visual display of quantitative
information, legislative redistricting, and the political economy
of economic inequality.
