(Ph.D., Rochester), assistant professor, is Associate Director
of the Center for American Politics and Public Policy. His research
focuses on legislative representation. His work on the impact of
congressional procedures for policy has been published in leading
political science journals including the American Political Science
Review. His work on the politics of health policymaking has been
published in leading health policy journals, including the Journal
of the American Medical Association, and in a book, Competitive
Managed Care: The Emerging Health Care System (Jossey-Bass, 1997).
At the undergraduate level, Wilkerson teaches American Politics,
US Congress, and a game theory course titled Strategy in Politics.
At the graduate level, he teaches seminars on Legislative Politics,
Health Politics and Policy, and Game Theory.
