Teach For America Pre-Law Event

Are you thinking about taking time off before going to law school?  Are you wondering what you can do to make the best use of that time?  We invite you to join us for a (free) informal dinner event with Teach For America alumni. These three alumni all went to law school after their time in the classroom and are eager to share their experiences with students who are interested in going to law school.

  • Omar Vasquez  - After graduating from Penn, Omar joined TFA and taught high school math in Phoenix, AZ. He then went to law school at University of Arizona and now is an Associate with Davis Wright Tremaine LLP and focuses on corporate law.
  • Owen Mooney – As a 2007 TFA corps member Owen graduated from Gonzaga and then returned to Gonzaga for law school. Since then he has worked with the Nevada Supreme Court and is currently an Associate with Bullivant Housey Bailey.
  • Travis Dailey -  After studying Math and Economics Travis joined TFA as a 2007 corps member. He then attended law school at Seattle University and has worked as a Clerk, Judicial Extern, and Associate in Washington.
