Department of Political Science

Political Science Minor

The Department of Political Science Offers a number of options for earning a minor in political science. Each of the minor degrees requires 30 credits to include 5 introductory credits and at least 5 credits of 400-level course work.

  • You must have 90 units to apply for a minor.
  • Minors do not allow special access to political science courses.
  • A 2.0 grade point average in political science is necessary for graduation.
  • You must have a 2.0 grade or better for each course used to fulfill the minor requirements.

To apply for a minor, visit any undergraduate advising office on campus. Minors do not require that you work directly with the Political Science Advising Office, but we are available to enroll minors or answer any questions.
