From 2012 to 2016, she was a graduate fellow at the Center for Communication and Civic Engagement (CCCE) for which she has also been a program manager and communications specialist during that time. In addition to working as an undergraduate adviser (2012-2013), Caterina has taught a variety of American politics and political communication courses (2013-2015), and worked as a web and marketing specialist for the Department of Political Science (2015-2017). Caterina's areas of expertise are American politics, political communication, and political methodology. She completed the Center for Statistics and the Social Science's track for political methodology and has experience using the statistical programs Stata and R. Her dissertation explores policy regime formation around the ideas of sustainable development and resilience in Germany and the United States.
