FACULTY & GRADUATE STUDENTS' PAPERS, PUBLICATIONS AND ACTIVITIES

Holy Public Choosing, Batman! Tony Gill presented two talks at the recent Public Choice annual meeting in Dallas, TX (March 14-16). This included "Transaction Costs and the Origins of Religion" and "Public Choice and the Study of Religion." He also chaired another panel on "Religion, Family, and Civil Society."  

After being informed that he wrote one of the best peer reviews for the journal Public Choice, Peter Leeson invited Tony Gill to join the editorial board of that esteemed journal. 

On February 29, Tony Gill presented "Bullshit: Lessons from Rodney Stark's Character for Contemporary Scholarship" at Chapman University's "Starkschrift," a gathering to honor the recent passing of former UW sociologist Rodney Stark. Prof. Stark's son was in attendance and liked the presentation.
