The FIUTS Student Board is a great opportunity for UW students to develop leadership and teamwork skills, while fostering global community on campus. Members build professional networks and gain real-world experience working with the non-profit sector. Election to the year-long student leadership team is a competitive process and applications for the 2015/2016 academic year are currently being accepted.
- Advocate for FIUTS values of peace, community, diversity, dialogue, engagement, and service
- Improve your leadership, organizational, event planning, and communication skills
- Learn about the nonprofit sector while serving on a non-profit Board of Trustees
- Work closely with FIUTS staff in carrying out the organization’s programs and mission
