There is still space available in the Dance Program's one-time offering of Afro-Peruvian Dance (Dance 231 - SLN 22224) with living legend Lalo Izquierdo. This course will include theoretical and practical knowledge which will allow students to express, communicate, practice and pass on Afroperuvian dance. The course will introduce students to the etymology of the name, geographical area where the dance is practiced, historical origins of the dance, and specific dance steps. No prior experience in dance required.
