The UW Campus Sustainability Fund is a student-led, student-funded grant organization housed in the UW Sustainability Office in Gerberding Hall. Our funding agreement with the Services and Activities Fee (SAF) makes available over $300,000 each year for student-led sustainability projects. Since our founding in 2010, we have funded 60+ projects totaling over 1.3 million dollars of funding.
The UW Campus Sustainability Fund has two routes for students to receive funding depending on the size of the project ask. The “CSF LOI Deadline” flyer applies to students applying for grant anywhere from $1,000 to $100,000 through our second annual funding cycle. The “CSF Small Projects” flyer applies to students applying for grants up to $1,000 through a streamlined, rolling application process with a two week evaluation turnaround.
