Political Science Major, Forogh Bashizada, is the 2016 President's Medalist. This award is given to honor the graduating transfer senior with the most distinguished academic record, it signifies a great deal of talent and hard work. In addition to this honor, she will receive a monetary award of $5,000 to be used towards future academic expenses.
Her award will be presented on two occasions, the first of which is the Awards of Excellence on the Thursday, June 9th at 3:30pm in Meany Hall. She will also be recognized during Commencement on Saturday, June 11th.
