UW Marching in Seattle Pride Parade! - June 26

On Sunday, June 26th, all University of Washington students, faculty, staff, and alumni, from all campuses, are invited to come MARCH with their fellow Huskies at the Seattle Pride Parade. LGBTQ or Ally, all are welcome! 

When: Sunday, June 26th, 11:00am

Where: 4th Ave, Downtown Seattle. We are contingent #58. Before the parade, we will be gathering on 4th Avenue, between Madison and Marion Streets, from 10:20-11:20. If you have any trouble finding us, ask a volunteer in a yellow Seattle Pride Volunteer t-shirt.

What to wear: Husky Gear, Pride Apparel, Rainbows, Drag, Purple, just be colorful and have fun with it!

We will be handing out thousands of Husky Pride stickers designed by Cat O.!

We will be marching alongside UW Medicine, who will also have a booth at PrideFest at Seattle Center. The parade route is 1.75 miles long so please remember to bring water and wear sunscreen and shoes you are comfortable walking in.

Both UW and UW Medicine will also be participating in Trans* Pride Seattle on the evening of Friday, June 24th in Capitol Hill. Trans* Pride Seattle starts with a march. We will assemble at the courtyard north of Seattle Central College for the march, beginning at 5:00pm. At 6:00pm the march will begin.
