SATSA Student Association on Terrorism & Security Analysis

Cyber Security: Law, Policy, and Regulation

The Journal on Terrorism and Security Analysis (JTSA) is pleased to announce its 2016-17 call for papers for our upcoming journal publication, entitled Cyber Security: Law, Policy, and Regulation. The JTSA invites paper submissions to be considered for publication in this year’s journal regarding a variety of cyber security topics, such as U.S. policy, cyber war and espionage, and cyber security infrastructure.

Emphasis on the political, legal, ethical, economic, or strategic concerns to the selected topic and their relation to modern security issues will be given serious consideration for submission. It is important to note that papers relating to ANY topic on cyber security will be considered for publication, so please do not see the above suggestions as a limitation.

The JTSA is a subsidiary organization of the Student Association on Terrorism and Security Analysis (SATSA) at Syracuse University and participates in the annual SATSA conference, hosted by the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs and Syracuse University College of Law. Selected authors will be invited to share their research at this year’s upcoming conference (travel expenses and hotel to be paid by SATSA) and have their papers published. Papers previously submitted to other publications are acceptable, but previously published papers are not eligible for consideration. Please send only near-completed or finished drafts. Paper lengths should be between 2,000-10,000 words. Please send all documents as attachments, most preferably in Microsoft Word.

The deadline for submissions is December 30, 2016.
Submission Process: e-mail directly to: bjvierra@syr.edu; cc satsa@syr.edu

The Journal on Terrorism and Security Analysis (JTSA) is the official journal of the Student Association on Terrorism and Security Analysis (SATSA) at Syracuse University. The JTSA is comprised of graduate students strongly interested in security issues. Our editorial staff consists of students in masters and JD programs that analyze, edit, and ultimately publish our final product, the annual JTSA. Through our association with SATSA, we are affiliated with the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University, and are supported by the Institute for National Security and Counterterrorism (INSCT), the Moynihan Institute of Global Affairs, and the Syracuse University College of Law.

We are looking forward to reviewing submissions from authors all over the country including
students, professors, and national security professionals.
