ARCTIC 400 - Integrating Policy and Science in Arctic Studies
Are you interested in how policy and science clash in today's emerging Arctic region? Are you interested in learning how policy and science are integrated in the Arctic and how it affects the environment and the people? If so, ARCTIC 400 is the course for you!
ARCTIC 400 examines the geographic region containing the Arctic Ocean and eight nation states on the Arctic Ocean. The course will discuss search and rescue, conservation and exploitation of natural resources and will discuss the geopolitical complexities from Russian, American, Canadian, and European permanent participants and new Asian nations.
