Announcement from the UW School of Environmental and Forest Science: 

Looking for a fun and interesting summer course?  Consider ESRM 210 – Soils, an A-term course providing NW credit.  Two field trips provide hands-on experience in the physical, chemical, and biological properties of soil.  Includes soil morphology and genesis, plant nutrition and nutrient cycling, and the application of soil properties to environmental concerns.

ESRM 210 - Intro to Soils

Learn about the physical, chemical, and biological properties that affect distribution and use patterns of this important ecosystem component. This course includes soil morphology and genesis, plant nutrition and nutrient cycling, soil water, microbiology, and application of soil properties to environmental concerns.
