In partnership with First Year Programs, our office is pleased to offer our autumn quarter undergraduate seminar in our Exploring Sustainability Seminar Series. The autumn quarter seminar will be particularly valuable for incoming freshmen and transfer students as it is an introduction to all things sustainability here at UW.

Here are the details on the seminar:

  • GEN ST 297-V | Undergraduate Seminar: Exploring Sustainability at UW (SLN 15678)
  • Friday 2:30-3:20pm
  • 1 credit, C/NC only
  • Open to all majors
  • Instructor: Sean G. Schmidt, sgs1@uw.edu
  • In this course, students will explore opportunities to make more sustainable choices at UW. The seminar will feature many guest speakers from across UW such as the student-funded and student-administered Campus Sustainability Fund (CSF), UW Recycling, UW Transportation, UW Athletics Green Team, Housing & Food Services, etc. that will help students learn about how sustainability happens at UW and how they can get involved.
