2018 CHID Courses

Submitted by Stephen Dunne on April 20, 2018 - 9:42am

Greetings from the CHID office!

Attached is a flyer listing our upcoming 2018 Summer and Autumn courses. It includes the instructor, time and date, and type of credits offered, and showcases the intellectual breadth of our faculty. Please share these exciting offerings with your students—there’s something here for everyone!

To highlight just two of our Summer courses:

  • July Hazard, SUM18 instructor of CHID 270C: Animal Engagements: Writing and Talking with Nonhuman Animals, is teaching in CHID for two years (hopefully more!); during this rare opportunity, students are extremely fortunate to be able to undertake four experiential, full-day field trips with this enthusiastic, engaging instructor.
  • Mollie Pepper’s CHID 250D: Gender, Conflict, and Peacebuilding course—exploring the gender dimensions of armed conflict and peacebuilding—is a perfect precursor to the Winter 2019 CHID Thailand study abroad program that Mollie will co-lead with Kimberly Roberts. Mollie is a PhD candidate in Sociology at Northeastern University.

Please feel free to send us questions!
