Scott Lemieux on the NBCNews Think site, "Democratic wins in 2020 won't change much if Mitch McConnell saves the filibuster "

Submitted by Stephen Dunne on March 25, 2019 - 3:40pm

Political Science Lecturer Scott Lemieux argues on the Think (NBCNews) web site that unless Democrats can get rid of the Senate filibuster then future Democrat presidents will have trouble passing legislation.

But Prof. Lemieux argues that "... If the filibuster could restore bipartisan comity to American politics, it would have already happened."
