Did you know that the Rhodes Scholarships, which fund graduate studies at Oxford, are open not just to US students, but to students from all over the world, including international students studying at UW?
In particular, the China Rhodes program is looking to encourage more applications from Chinese citizens enrolled at US universities. Chinese citizens enrolled at UW or any other US university are eligible to apply, provided they have spent five of the past ten years of education in China (which means, in most cases, that eligible applicants have attended Chinese high school).
UW nomination is not required for the Rhodes Scholarships for China (or other countries besides the US), but the UW Office of Merit Scholarships, Fellowships & Awards is available to support applicants, answer questions, navigate the process, and develop competitive applications.
