Exchange opportunity and award for undergraduates

Submitted by Colleen Park on November 25, 2019 - 11:41am
The Corbett British Columbia-Washington International Exchange Program is a remarkable opportunity for undergraduate students from Washington state to spend an academic year (September-April) at either the University of British Columbia or the University of Victoria. Students will receive a $10,000 award to cover living and other costs.
The Corbett Exchange Program is a cultural exchange that aims to improve understanding of the unique qualities of the three major cities in the Pacific Northwest cross-border region. We encourage students to explore the relationship between Canada and the United States through their studies, personal experiences, and community engagement.
The Corbett Exchange is not a traditional study abroad program. Students on this exchange will pay their home tuition rates, and often receive their regular levels of financial aid in addition to the generous award. Students from all academic disciplines are welcomed and encouraged to apply! Our alumni have come from a variety of fields: engineering, cognitive systems and neuroscience, education, mathematics, Indigenous studies and environmental science, to name just a few.
Apply by December 1 for priority consideration.
