The NEW Leadership Institute is a 6-day intensive program held from June 22nd to June 27th, developed to encourage and equip participants with the skills to seek new heights in their personal and professional lives. Examples of topics and workshops include community organizing and activism, politics & policymaking, and salary negotiations. We are looking for undergraduate or graduate womxn enrolled in a 2-year or 4-year program who are eager to be leaders in their communities. Washington students and out-of-state-students with Washington residency are eligible to apply.
It is my great pleasure to inform you that the Application form for the 2020 Alene Moris National Education for Women’s (NEW) Leadership Institute is now open. The Institute is designed to cultivate leadership skills, teach participants about the realities of politics and policymaking, and help students explore the demands and rewards of leadership in a diverse society.
