To vote this November, citizens must be registered. Each state has unique election rules and most require that voters register before election day.

Here’s how to confirm that you are registered and to register if needed:

National Association of Secretaries of State – Can I vote?

Washington is a vote by mail state. Registered voters automatically receive a ballot in the mail at their home address. Other states require that mail or absentee ballots be specifically requested well in advance of the election. Here’s how to request your ballot:
