ESS 101 is a tried and true course, but I wanted to bring your attention to its new format in this virtual world. Professor Swanson has designed ESS 101 for winter quarter with lots of flexibility for students in different time zones as well as lots of support and extra credit opportunities, as you’ll see on the attached flyer. And if you can’t do in-person field geology, virtual field geology is the next best thing! Please share widely with your students and networks.
