Research Exposed! Open Lecture | Wednesdays 12:30-1:20 pm in MGH 251

Submitted by Stephen Dunne on January 12, 2023 - 8:37am

We have a very exciting opportunity for students that are interested in either starting research and/or learning about the intersection of research and passion in multiple disciplines (social work, population health, public health, public policy & governance, education, built environments, dentistry, and more!).

Our Research Exposed! Course (Gen St. 391 D) lectures are currently open to the UW public! This course will be on Wednesdays from 12:30-1:20 pm in Mary Gates Hall 251. Each week we will have speakers from different disciplines touch upon their research, the design of that research, how inquiry is structured in that discipline, and how students can become involved in the process!

If you are interested in any of the speaker's topics/areas of interest, we invite and encourage you to come to listen to their presentation on their respective dates. These lectures can also be great networking connections if you were hoping to connect to a faculty in an area of interest. Attached, is a flyer for the course that includes the speaker agenda and topics. Please feel free to share this with any friends or classmates that may be interested. You can also find more information about Research Exposed! here. If you have any questions, feel free to email urp@uw.edu

Hope to see you there!
