Study Abroad: Summer B Term "Art and Social Change" in India

Hello students,

I am Dr. Anu, faculty in CHID and English. Consider studying abroad this Summer B on the long-running "Art and Social Change" program to India, a program that's been in existence since 2003! Students will meet and learn from artists, performers, writers, singers, theatre actors, and activists who are making small and big changes in their communities. The collaborators in India we learn from are some of my most favorite people ever! 

Program is one month (July 20-Aug 20, 2023, Summer B)

  1. redits, and all meals included in the program fee!

Courses: 

  • CHID 390: Indian Expressions (5 credits I&S)
  • CHID 474: Postcolonial Literatures & Cultural Studies (5 credits I&S)
  • CHID 470: Introduction to India (2 credits I&S)

 

Fulfills Requirements: 

  • CHID Cultural and Historical Engagement
  • CHID Power & Difference
  • CHID 390
  • SSc Credit

12 credits, and all meals included in the program fee!
