Research Opportunity for POL S Majors & Minors
The 2023-24 Center for American Politics & Public Policy (CAPPP) Undergraduate Research Fellowship Program is open to political science majors or minors with an interest in carrying out original research. The CAPPP Fellowship is a year-long program that introduces a small cohort of students (10 max) to data science techniques and basic programming skills. Students apply these methods to design and carry out an independent research project throughout the academic year.
The application process is open now, and will remain open on a rolling basis until all of the positions are filled: https://depts.washington.edu/cappp/index.php/undergraduate-fellows/. Students who apply early will receive priority.
More information about the program is available here: https://depts.washington.edu/cappp/index.php/undergraduate-fellows/.
Please contact Professor Becca Thorpe (bthorpe@uw.edu) if you have any questions about the program or the application process.
