Seattle Times published a new story, Why environmental justice matters, from the founder himself on Dr. Robert Bullard's recent UW visit which was hosted by the Center for Environmental Politics.
Tony Gill was just elected to membership in the Philadelphia Society at their semi-annual meeting in Tampa, FL.
Zhaowen Guo won the Exceptional Excellence Award at the RAISE-2024 data science competition at Rutgers University, which had 103 nationwide entries. This competition encouraged participants to use NLP techniques to examine media coverage of AI.
