INFO 498B- Designing for an Aging World is not your typical course. It's a hands-on, forward-looking exploration of one of the most important global trends: the aging population.
In this class, you’ll:
  • Explore how memory and cognition change over time—starting as early as age 20 👀
  • Evaluate how tools like VR, mindfulness, and generative AI can boost brain health
  • Design inclusive solutions to improve aging in families, workplaces, and communities
  • Build your own personal space of information (PSI) to support lifelong learning & legacy
Whether you're into UX design, psychology, data science, AI, healthcare, or social impact, this course offers a unique chance to apply your skills to real-world challenges—with creativity, compassion, and cutting-edge tech.
