LETTER FORM OUR CHAIR

Greetings! Welcome to Autumn Quarter at the University of Washington.

No matter how much we all miss summer, you can’t beat the excitement that comes with the return of students to the campus, the fall colors and of course a Husky football game or two. The Department of Political Science is ready to go—faculty and staff rising to meet the challenges, as we are acutely aware that the unbeatable college learning environment that we facilitate is more important than ever. As you will see in this newsletter, we are welcoming a new faculty member into the Husky pack this Fall, and our faculty and students continue to engage in cutting edge research and teaching. Make sure to bookmark our Events Calendar as we will continue to host an exciting array of speakers, lectures and events throughout the year.

As always, if you are looking to get involved, drop me a line, whether it is attending an event or donating to a student scholarship, there are so many ways to remain engaged with UW Political Science!
