Jared Alan Stewart is a Ph.D. student in the department of Political Science at the University of Washington-Seattle. Before relocating to the Northwest, Jared spent his life in the South, where he graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a BA in Political Science and a Presidential Studies minor. He obtained his MA in Political Science from the University of Washington in 2016. Jared's research interests are in American Politics, specifically religion and politics, political communication, environmental politics, and the American presidency. When he's not in the classroom or ensconced in his office hideaway, he enjoys camping with his wife and basset hounds and playing guitar.
