The Political Science Convocation celebrates the graduation of Political Science students receiving B.A., M.A. and Ph.D. degrees from Summer 2017 to Summer 2018. The celebration includes departmental undergraduate awards, a speech by an undergraduate (applications are due on May 3rd), and a speech by the recipient of the Department's Distinguished Alumni Award. Each graduating student will have their name read as they cross the stage to receive a letter of congratulations from the Department Chair.
When: Thursday, June 7, from 10 to 11:30am
Where: HUB Ballroom (2nd floor of the Husky Union Building)
Tickets: None.
Registration: Open until May 20th.
Parking: Parking permits are required to park on campus on June 7th.
Cap and Gown: Academic regalia is encouraged but not required. Students who do not wear a cap and gown should dress in business attire.
