A number of internship opportunities on John Lovick’s campaign will be available for the Spring, Summer, and Fall of 2018. Specific internships include:
- Field Organizer
- Volunteer Coordinator
- Office Manager
- Enthusiastic Volunteer
Qualifications include enthusiasm and a willingness to work hard as well as the following:
- Strong oral and written skills
- Comfort and experience working with the public
- Ability to organize and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Capacity to work independently and within a team
Intern time commitments may vary and are flexible. However, we request a minimum of 10 hours a week. Access to a car is preferable, but not required.
At the end of the internship, interns will be able to include the experience on any college application or resume and use staff as references and for letters of recommendation.
There are many benefits to interning with the Lovick campaign, including developing fine-tuned public relations skills and hands-on political experience. We are committed to teaching our interns basic skills in campaign organizing. This is a great experience to include on your resume and an opportunity to build connections to help you in the future.
