On that edge, you will experience setback, struggle, and failure — all of which provide an opportunity for growth. Come learn how to take risks, face challenges in and out of the classroom, and ultimately, fail forward. 

Join us for our second Fail Forward: Reflections on Rejection panel series. Hear stories and experiences of success and failure, risk and redemption shared by some of our outstanding University of Washington coaches.

Coaches

	Lorenzo Romar Head Men’s Basketball Coach, 14th year Played at UW from 1978-1980. Coach Romar played in the NBA for five years after being drafted by the Golden State Warriors.
	Heather Tarr Head Softball Coach, 11th year Played at UW from 1994-1997 and played professionally as a member of the Women’s Professional Fastpitch Softball League’s Tampa Bay Fire Stix.
	Lesle Gallimore Head Women’s Soccer Coach, 22nd year Played at University of California, Berkeley from 1982-1985 and was recently named to the Pac-12 All-Century Team.
	Ed Taylor, Moderator Vice Provost and Dean, Undergraduate Academic Affairs Played guard on the Gonzaga Men’s Basketball team in the early 1980s.
