Space in Spring IWP Writing Links for "C"/"W" Credit

There is space available in many Spring Quarter Interdisciplinary Writing Links.  

The Interdisciplinary Writing Program (IWP) offers 5-credit writing classes (which must be taken in conjunction with a lecture course) that give students an opportunity to earn “C”/”W” credit and go into greater depth on some of the topics covered in the linked lecture. Writing Links are small – 21 students – which allows students to meet 1:1 with their instructor and do group work with other students in the classroom.

Up to two Writing Links (10 credits total) taken at the 200 level also can count toward the English Minor: http://depts.washington.edu/engl/ugrad/minor.php.

Below is a list of lecture courses and the corresponding IWP Writing Links that have space:

Humanities

  • MUSIC 120 A & B – Survey of Western Music – Linked with ENGL 197 A/C, MWF 10:30-11:20
  • DRAMA 101 – Introduction to the Theater – Linked with ENGL 197 D, MWF 1:30-2:20
  • ENGL 202 – Introduction to the Study of English Language and Literature – Linked with ENGL 297 A/B/C/D/E which meet MWF: 9:30-10:20, or 11:30-12:20, or 12:30-1:20
