The Stroum Center for Jewish Studies at the University of Washington, a program of the Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies, engages a diverse student body by providing entry points to universal questions and concerns through the lens of global Jewish experiences.
The Stroum Center is currently seeking UW student interns to apply their talents and strengths to support its community and student-facing work during the 2016-2017 school year.
Over the course of the academic year, Stroum Center interns apply theory to real-life situations; receive mentoring and supervision from Jewish Studies professional staff; and gain exposure to the world of international studies. Past interns noted that the internship allowed them to “meet people across UW that I never would have met otherwise” and learn how to “communicate in different ways with different types of people” while “increasing my world perspective and understanding about academics” at UW.
The internship is designed for approximately 10-15 hours per week and pays $15 per hour. Applicants from all backgrounds and disciplines are encouraged to apply.
