2016 China-US Young Maker Competition
The 2016 China-US Young Maker Competition has formally launched, and students and makers can submit their projects until June 17th. Themed “Co-Making the future,” contestants will create innovative products using recommended Intel technology, focused on the areas of community development, education, environmental protection, health & fitness, transportation and other areas of sustainable development. Ten US semi-finalists will win a trip to Beijing to compete against inventors and tinkerers from China for the title of Ultimate Global Maker and a grand prize of $15,000. Projects will be accepted until June 17, 2016 through the Hackster.io portal.
