Phi Alpha Delta Events

Submitted by Caterina Rost on October 5, 2016 - 3:22pm

Are you interested in the legal profession? Do you like being a part of a community that supports and fosters your interests?

Phi Alpha Delta is the right place for you. We are a co-ed academic fraternity on the UW Seattle campus that promotes the legal field and helps its members gain a deeper understanding of the legal profession. We re-chartered in the Spring of 2015, and since then we have had alumni enroll at Columbia Law School and William & Mary Law School, as well as gain employment at private firms in Seattle and Bellevue.

We are hosting several events in the coming weeks for new members.

  • This Thursday, October 6th at 5:30-6pm in PACCAR 492, is our first informational of Fall 2016! This event is to provide more information on what we offer and what joining would mean for you. Snacks and drinks will be provided! Come and meet some of the current members and get the scoop on Phi Alpha Delta.
  • On October 11th, at 6-8pm at Slate Coffee Roasters (1309 NE 45th St). What goes better together than law and coffee? This is another opportunity to meet current members, other prospective members, and get more information for joining our organization over coffee!
  • Come join us on Wednesday October 12th for friendly debates with ice cream. Location and time are to be determined. Debate topics will vary, depending on interests and current issues.

Some great events coming up this quarter for members include a completely free practice LSAT with TestMasters, and a Q&A with an Assistant United States Attorney for the Western District of Washington.

More information on all of our events can be found on our Facebook page. Also make sure to follow us on Instagram at pad_uw!
