The UW School of Social Work has been in partnership with the Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP) since 2004. Between 2006-09, a UW study abroad course was offered as an Exploration Seminar. In 2013, we began offering a joint UW and RUPP study abroad course in summer Term A. This unique educational opportunity allows students from both universities to share a cross-cultural experience that not only extends their understanding of substantive topics related to development but also pushes the boundaries of their personal awareness and effectiveness of being a group member within a cross-cultural context.

For undergraduate scholarship and to monitor upcoming deadlines for applications, please see http://expd.uw.edu/globalopportunities/. Applications are not yet available for this course; if interested you can email one of the co-instructors to receive an email when the application goes online.
