Want to get involved with student government or advocate for employees? ASUW Personnel Committee applications are now open! This committee is a year long commitment, where volunteers from across campus come together to help review and shape policies that impact ASUW’s 60+ paid employees. This committee is in charge of making human-resource-related recommendations to the Board of Directors, reviewing job descriptions and recommending salary guildelines, as well as helping lead our hiring committees in the Spring.
If you are interested in advocating for employees, shaping personnel policies, engaging with hiring practices, and helping to create a work place culture that lifts students up, then this is the opportunity for you. The time commitment is 1 to 2 hours a week in Autumn/Winter Quarter and 3 to 4 hours a week in Spring. Applications close next Thursday (10/20) at 11:59 pm.
