We the Voters: free election-themed screening & discussion for young voters!

Submitted by Caterina Rost on October 19, 2016 - 12:46pm

We The Voters is socially minded web campaign that aims to inspire and activate millions of Americans by presenting films on democracy, elections, and U.S. governance. The project incorporates these themes into films, apps and games in order to demystify how the government works and to motivate Americans to seize the power of their vote. One week before the election, on November 1st at 7pm, the Northwest Film Forum will present a selection of the films produced by We The Voters followed by a panel discussion. These films give young people an opportunity to learn more about the political process and their own power within our system of governance. After this free screening, we invite you to join us for a panel discussion about this important moment in American politics and the necessity of engaged and informed voters.
