Gilman Scholarship Application Workshop Jan 23rd

Global Opportunities is offering an application writing workshop for the Gilman International Scholarship on Monday Jan. 23^rd from 2:30 to 3:30 in MGH 171 and on Jan 25^th from 6:00pm-7:00pm in MGH 171. The Gilman provides up to $5,000 to US citizens currently receiving a Pell grant for study abroad and is open to all majors. Learn more about the Gilman Scholarship at

This is a wonderful supplemental scholarship for students who are also applying for the GO! scholarship. This workshop will not only help students write effective personal statements, but strategies for the Follow on Project portion of the application will also be discussed.
