Incredible India is undergoing an exhilarating economic transformation. This program will immerse students in the Subcontinent’s vibrant culture and entrepreneurial spirit as we visit with the new kinds of leaders who have found ways to bring prosperity to a country where most people live in poverty and deep-rooted customs and practices can block social change. Women in particular are bucking tradition to assume leadership roles at an astonishing rate. In the process, they are transforming the way global government and development groups think about how to fight poverty. This program will explore the role of women in society, business and the global context of emerging economies.
