MARCH 6 - JACKSON SCHOOL event on student collaboration with the Tulalip Tribes on Puget Sound environmental issues

Submitted by Caterina Rost on

As part of their Jackson School ‘Task Force’ capstone class this quarter, a group of International Studies seniors developed a strategic communications plan for the Tulalip Tribes to communicate to non-tribal millennials about the Tribes’ Puget Sound restoration efforts and treaty rights.

The students also developed a digital story about their experience.

Please join us on Monday March 6th, 6 pm to 7:30 pm, at the wǝɫǝbʔaltxʷ Intellectual House for a presentation and discussion of the students’ work.

Some Tulalip members will speak, we will be showing the digital story that the students created about our learning experience (https://sway.com/wluV0qRyoGiK3J80) and we will discuss what this means for education at the UW.
