The Pacific Northwest Canadian Studies Consortium, with the support of the Canadian Studies Center, invite you to join us on a field course along the Columbia River at the end of June. We will focus on the Columbia River Treaty modernization and will drive up the river and visit several stakeholders—First Nations/Native Americans, hydro electric power representatives, environmental and religious leaders—all of whom are working to have ecosystems added to the treaty’s mandate of hydro power and flood control.
