Risk. Redemption. Resilience.

Next Wednesday evening, the UW Resilience Lab is hosting its big annual Fail Forward event.  As you are working with students who are feeling stuck / lost / dejected – please point them towards the event.  We hope to help normalize those experiences of failure, hardship, and struggle while helping folks realize that there are multiple paths forward.

The event is open to the UW community – and that means you.  Please feel free to attend if you can.

Rough midterm? Bad breakup? No idea what your passion is supposed to be? Feel like you're never going to get that coveted internship? Are you pretty sure that your thesis adviser would rather have a colonoscopy than read through yet another draft of your dissertation proposal? Convinced that you will fall short of your parents' expectations even if you get into that fancy sounding major?

You are not alone.

Join the UW Resilience Lab for Fail Forward, an evening of storytelling where some of our outstanding UW leaders will share their experiences of success and failure, risk and redemption in a panel discussion moderated by Undergraduate Academic Affairs' Dr. Anne Browning and Dean Ed Taylor.
