The UW's Tolo Chapter of Mortar Board invites all undergraduates to nominate an outstanding professor who has inspired and made exceptional contributions toward the education of UW and undergraduates.
 
Mortar Board's Excellence in Teaching Award annually recognizes an extraordinary professor who has proven to be particularly dedicated to the intellectual success of undergraduates. Over the years, selected professor have represented a diversity of academic departments. Nominated faculty must hold an academic appointment of Lecturer or above for this award. 
 
All nominations for the 2017 Excellence in Teaching Award must be received by Sunday April 30, 2017

The oldest continuing national honor society at the University of Washington, Mortar Board recognizes college seniors for distinguished ability and achievement in scholarship, leadership, and service. Mortar Board was founded at the University of Washington in 1909 and is the oldest continuing honor society on campus.
