Jason Rittereiser is a congressional candidate running in Washington’s 8th Congressional District. The seat will be open for the 2018 election following Congressman Dave Reichert’s retirement. Interns will work in a fast-paced campaign environment, 2-3 days per week, with a flexible schedule.
We are looking for a driven, tech-savvy undergraduate to join as a Finance and Digital Intern. Responsibilities of the position include:

Using campaign software to track fundraising efforts

Keeping daily fundraising data up to date in our systems

Track social media interactions and provide regular reports to the campaign staff

Develop social media engagement, followers, and post suggestions

Research project related to active campaign social media strategies

Other duties as needed by the campaign staff
Qualifications

Passion for politics

Knowledge and understanding of current events

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets

Detailed understanding of Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube

Strong writing skills
