Faculty, staff, and students are invited to join us for an event on Monday, February 5 to meet these students and discuss their work.

This event brings together participants in the Study of the U.S. Institute (SUSI) on Civic Engagement from Angola, Botswana, Mozambique, South Africa, and Zimbabwe with individuals from the Seattle area who have an interest in Africa, civic engagement, and community development. Engage in conversations with the SUSI students to learn about their successes, hopes, and challenges as they create initiatives to improve their home communities, and share your own experiences and ideas for resources that might be useful or inspiring to them.
