Urban Rural Trade Divide Conversation

Submitted by Stephen Dunne on
The Slade Gorton International Policy Center invites you to join us for a panel discussion with former Ambassador to China, former U.S. Secretary of Commerce, and former Governor of Washington Gary Locke, and Congressman Dan Newhouse, U.S House of Representative for Washington’s 4th congressional district. The panel will discuss the impact of international trade, and its relevant policies, on the urban/rural divide nationally and in Washington state. This program is being planned and developed by the students of the Gorton Center Global Leaders Program, a year-long leadership development program for undergraduate, graduate and law students from the Puget Sound area. Please join us for a roundtable discussion, moderated by former U.S. Senator Slade Gorton, as the panel discusses international emergency management and lessons learned.
