Institute for National Security Studies Summer Program

Submitted by Stephen Dunne on

The Institute for National Security Studies in cooperation with Tel Aviv University (TAU).

The program is comprised of 3 parts - each worth 2-credit from TAU - and deals with contemporary issues of national security and geopolitics of the Middle East.

Specifically,

Week 1: THE MIDDLE EAST AFTER THE ARAB UPHEAVALS (2 Credits)

Week 2: ISLAMIC JIHADI-SUNNI TERRORISM AS AN ONGOING CHALLENGE (2 Credits)

Week 3: ISRAEL'S NATIONAL SECURITY DOCTRINE IN AN UNSTABLE NEIGHBORHOOD (2 Credits)

Lectures are conducted by top Israeli researchers and policy practitioners. There are also several day trips to gain a firsthand experience with the realities on the ground. The program provides you with housing options and the opportunity to spend a summer in one of the world's coolest cities (not temperature-wise...).

All students are international students. The program is designed for graduate-level students, but reserves a limited number of seats to exceptionally strong undergraduates.

Attached is a flyer of the program and some useful links:
